Anyone else wish the starship was more realistic?
I think that it should be built in orbit, so at the ery least you could do some futuristic improvements (think alpha centauri satellites).

It launches from the Earth. Which, aside from being incredibly realistic, cheapens your civ's accomplishment.

Considering that it has a Planetary Party Lounge, it is actually (by today's standards) a fairly large spaceship.

The starship part of Civ2 seemed quite patched together at the last minute:
-lousy graphics in build sequence
-in flight sequence looks worse than 1984 Asteroids game
-no expl in manual
-no expl in strat manual
