Hmmm. What do you mean? I hate teh governor, if you're talking about taht.

That diplomatic advisor's statements seem to be very accurate, but dont' bear much on the other guy's willingness to trade. Sure, tehy're in awe of my culture, military might and technological achievements, but tehy won't trade me ONE fricking elephant for my spice AND my silks unless I toss in my soul too. bastards.

Advisors are not animated. The Civ3 Foreign Advisor often says "They would be insulted" at most trades you think are fair, but this is written text, not video like Civ2. Civ3 Civ Leaders are animated, but don't talk just slightly move their head & face muscles. Anything said is written in text (except for space victory video & easter egg). No wonder videos either.
