Question regarding diplomacy
Question regarding diplomacy:
How can you cancl a mutual defense pact or a right of passage agreement? It says that it can be cancelled after 20 turns and I've had the computer cancel treaties with me. However, I can't seem to find the option to cancel treaties with them.
I'd like to be able to remove mutual protection pacts and such without resoring to a declaration of war.

So, with no replies is it safe to say that no one know how to do this?
It seems like an important thing, the ability to cancel mutual protection pacts and right of way agreements without declareing war.
Please, someone must know how to do this.
It must be in the game as the computer Civs do it to me all the time.

Sorry, I was going to reply a while back, but I got distracted. Anyway . . .
Contact the leader you want to cancel the deal with (shift-d), make proposal, and at the bottom of this screen there is a button that says "active". Click on that and then click the deal you don't want anymore. If you can't click it then it will have a number by it, which is the number of turns left until you can cancel.
Hope this helps
