Public Challenge - Civ 2 Unit Creation.
I've always wanted to see a set of Red Alert units for Civ 2, like Mammoth tanks and Grenadiers. If anyone could make a unit.gif with red Alert units, that would be so great!
Add idea's for Unit.gif that you have, but can't create, as inspiration for some of the more talented peope here on the forums.

I'd be glad to help you, but I don't know what the Red Alert thing is all about...
Are you talking about historical units anyway, or is it a kind of fantasy game? I have no idea, as you can see...
Too bad noone has replied to your 'public challenge' yet. Maybe the others don't happen to know what Red Alert is either...
So I'm giving you the chance to add another OnTopic post to your count here...

Dan, There was a topic in the Scenario League forum where someone was considering a Red Alert scenario. Do a search on it and contact them and see if they have ripped the units.

Hi Fiera, I think, C.Dan means units from the Comand&Conquer part Red Alert (not sure if it was the first or the second part, I´ve only played C&C III), so that are SciFi units...
I would like to help, but I haven´t Red Alert and I have not enough time, because I´ll finish my Rome scn in the next weeks.

Actually, I have a few projects to juggle around and I can't add another. Sorry.

RED alert!
What you need is a Vladan Bato's utility called "MIXMAM " to read Westwood's C&C graphic files.
It takes the PCX's out frame by frame; after, you'd have to transfer'hem in GIF's using 89a format within Wingif or Jasc's PSPRO.

And I'd really like to see an "Ogre" unit, like in the board games Ogre and GEV.
