Unique Wonder Still built by other CIV
There are two kind of Wonders in the game:
Small and big Wonders. The small Wonders can be built by anybody who has the tech. The Big Wonder can be built only by one.
This info above is in the Manual.
I experienced, that Pyramids are built by many CIVs. (5 or 6). Pyramids are considered a big Wonder.
I play at Warlord level, Huge Map, 16 Civs. My machine is WIndows XP.
Is this a bug or a feature? Something has been changed after the release???

If I understand correctly what you're saying.. It's not a bug nor a change of rules. It's only your advisors telling you "This or that civ has started building the wonder!". Ultimately, only 1 civ will finish it. But more than 1 may work on the wonder

No. Actually, The wonder of the Pyramid can be found in several cities.
I don't mix the report of trying to build with the eventual building.
In my game there are 5 pyramids in different cities.
According to your reaction, that's not normal....

How do you know the Pyramids are in more than one city?

I have the F6-F11 keys. One of them lists all the cities where a Wonder is built. (I know that it tells you if they started or not). These wonders are actually finished. And most confusing, 5 pyramids.
Warlord level. Huge map, 16 civ, Windos XP, every settings random. I play Russia.

hmmm very odd indeed. i don't know what to tell you, if what you say is true. capture all those cities and then you get 5 granaries per city.

Well, I can post anybody the savegame. Nonetheless I will check it in the evening. Most confusing is, that it occurs in every game I play.
Anybody playing with the cracked version of Civ3?

I've found that I was able to continue building a Great Wonder for two turns after it was finished by another civ. Then my advisor would tell me that I had to change to something else. This kind of "dual construction" has never lasted longer than that for me.

Cracked version? I certainly hope your not wasting this forums time with trouble from a pirated version of the game.
That being said the Wonder menu will show the more than one of the same unique wonder if it is underconstruction. Are you sure it says "The Pyramids OWNED by So and So" and not "...being built by..."
I have not seen this problem ever.
