Soren Johnson Chat Transcript??
Anyone have the transcript of yesterday's chat? Firewall at work blocks IRC access, so I missed it.
edit by markg:

I ask about the details of the patch but Soren said he wasn't allowed to talk about the patch schedule...

You are so anti-america that having a conversation with you would be poinless. You may or maynot feel you are an enemy of the United States, I don't care either way. However if I still worked for the Goverment I would turn over your e-mail address to my bosses and what ever happen, happens.

I just read it all and wondering if this is all? I didn't see any talks about air superiority mission, interception problems and cruise misille stuff.
Did I miss something here?

I just read the first page of the transcript and I am already feeling better about their support. There are a number of issues being addressed and they are listening.
I don't expect them to address all issues. Actually, I don't think people on this board could agree on what all the issues are. Agreed?
However, the ones mentioned in passing even on the first page look to address issues of playability, IMHO. This is good.
And a big thankyou for posting the transcript!

I have modified the chat to take out alot of extra chatter. Most of what is left are the questions that Soren or one of the other Firaxis employees were answering. Warning: I am only human so there may be some mistakes. File is located here or below.

The "hotseat" comment was that Soren was in the hotseat
ie: We Apolytoners were grilling him (with questions)...
Not the interesting MP type of hotseat

boundary transgression
i noticed this question (getting ai to respect your borders more) was asked.
I would like to go one bit further.
Units are usually crossing your territory to get to the frontier and settle it. When you order them to withdraw, these units usually end up closer to where they want to go. Its a bad thing.
So why can't enemy units (or your own) be automatically withdrawn to the nearest friendly city? --like civ2
