Having Trouble at Warlord, is it worth it to get the Strategy Guide??
After several games I'm still struggling at the Warlord level (I know... please be kind! ). Does the Prima Strategy Guide contain enough good info and help to make it worthwhile? So often these guides are just a rehash of the manual or the in-game files, and since I've already extracted the Civilopedia text and have been looking at that I don't need a repeat of that info.

Any helpful comments?

Honestly I found the strat guide to be decent but not overly helpful. It was mainly info that is already available to you if you read the civ-pedia in game. I'm glad I only borrowed it instead of shelling out 20 bucks on it.

If you can afford it. I found that the game guide and strat guide in conjunction with each other produce a decent reference manual.

Strat guide came out before game. I got it, read it. Got game. been playing solid for 10 days. Have not actualy read the game manual.

Dunno' how much info is duplicated, but I have found stuff easier in the strat guide. It also tends to not only tell you how something works, but why it works and why you would or not want to do something.
