Unit shield cost limit
I have run across a document that states that the AI will not build a unit that costs more than 18 shield rows. Is this actually the case? Has anyone ever tested this and determined if it is so?
I should add that I have the FW edition, and have created all my scenarios for this version.

After MGE, a limit on cost was "documented" as to be a maximum of 200 shiels (20 rows). But, Ai's can certainly build -250- ones, MAYBE even up to -990-. That has to do with integer limits >or< byte-counts of "256" multipliers.

For units which can be actually built, I would strongly advise you not to use production costs exceeding. The problem (at least with FW) is that players this units will under some circumstances even GET MONEY for rushbuying it!
On the other hand, for unique units it perhaps might be a good idea to use costs above this limit in order to assure that this unit might not be bribed.

Based on my own experience, a number between 26 and 32 in rules.txt does it for the AI. Not advised for the human player though!
