My "issues" with Civ 3
It's 4:30 am, and I can't find the other "stuff for next patch" posts, so I'm just going to start my own one.

1) Upgrading Units is a slow process.

I usually keep my units as modern as possible. Unfortunately, on huge maps, this is sort of annoying, as I have to upgrade... 100+ units when I want to go from Riflemen to Infantry, and Infantry to Mechanized Infantrty. Quite annoying spending 10 minutes right clicking. Some "Upgrade All (or as much as you can afford)" thing in your F3 menu might be nice.

2) Large Games Take Forever.

Workers are boring. The one thing I liked in SMAC was the option that "Do Not Zoom to Center on Units With Orders" or whatever it was. Not having to see all your workers make a road, or cut down a jungle, or what have you, is nice. On a similar note, if you could have a specific list of what moves to show (all moves, all enemy moves, all friendly moves within culture-area), I think the turns would go a LOT quicker between moves. I hate having to take a break between moves to watch all the units animate. And considering how the entire time taken between moves is watching this happen, I can't imagine that there is much CPU overhead in just having pieces move on their own. I don't know, but if I spend over 16 hours playing just one game without even making it to 1300 AD, there's something wrong...

You are so anti-america that having a conversation with you would be poinless. You may or maynot feel you are an enemy of the United States, I don't care either way. However if I still worked for the Goverment I would turn over your e-mail address to my bosses and what ever happen, happens.

if you hold shift, enemy moves are not animated, nor are your worker's.

Ah. It's not a matter of animation. I mean not showing it at all. I remember that in SMAC, game turns were significantly sped up if you turned off "Zoom to unit with orders," which is pretty much what I'm looking for here.
