woah oil in the water! do you have fast bandwidth? i'd like to check out your save game if you dont mind! i have NEVER seen oil in the water, the game wont even let you put it in the water if you use the editor!

Oil in the water? I tink dat it is a bug.
and i too have problems finding certain resources. mainly coal. which is why i road everything in my cultural boundaries as soon as possible so i don't have to look for them so often.

Oil SHOULD be a resource in the water, which is automatically connected if the resource is within the city radius of a city with an offshore platform. Or are platforms out of the game?
