Is there a way to see city radius on main map?
I remember in Civ 2 I'd downloaded a patch which made the map grid around cities a different color from the rest of the grid, showing which spaces were workable around cities. I find myself having trouble picturing where to place cities to minimize overlap with workable terrain from already existing cities. I hate having to jump back and forth between city screen and main map screen to figure out exactly where I should move my settlers to found a new city.
Am I missing something either in the baseline game or in a mod someone's developed?

what is the problem... if you have that patch installed, just turn the grid on to see the radius... if not, download and install it

LOL..... Except that he wants to play CIV 3.
To answer the question, no there isn't. Wouldn't it be nice if there were?
When you move settlers around, it will outline the initial workable area of the city that you could build, as well as the changes in the borders from building it. However, you never see the current workable tiles of the entire empire. (Yet another nice AC feature that SHOULD have made it in....)

I would love to see this in the patch.
Speaking of things I'd like to see. I'd like to be able to see what, and how many resources the other civ's have in their territory without manually loking at all the squares. Since it's information I can get anyway it would be nice to have it in the trade information screen or something.
