Anyone ever try this?
I'm going to try to get every wonder/improvement possible in ONE city preferably my capital. I wonder what it'll look like. Of course I'm going to try this on cheiftain, where I can box the AI in easily

Thoughts, experiences?

Pretty cool, one game on chieftan I got pyramids, great walls, copernicus, oracle, seti, hoover dam, wall street and I think hanging gardens, If you get every single one in one city I think it would looks pretty cool, post a screenshot when you do it, I'd like to see.

that can't be easy. I'd love to see a screen shot.

maybe play archipelago. I can always get all the wonders in the 2nd,3rd, and fouth ages (but that is in different cities). but my first game when I played chieftan I missed a couple in the stone age.

but withougt caravans, I just can't see how.

and i have yet to build all the minor wonders. (i've yet to have a victorious army, because I haven't built one. I need to get around to doing that- but I'm not sure if you can upgrade units within the army)

I'll post a screenshot when I do it. It might not have the military specific ones though such as hero epic or the pentagon.

I think the AI might build up too much and destroy me even on chieftain because the AI focuses on raw power. If I focus on military, it may be hard to get all the wonders in one city.

I'll try though. If anyone does it, please post a screenshot.
Thanks.

Don't bother with armies. They don't work as you might think. There seems to be a large amount of probability involved as to whether or not each unit in the army will attack. I've watched a single spearmen defeat an entire army (FULL HEALTH) of immortals without taking a hit. Whereas when I then attacked him with a single immortal, it was the immortal that did not sustain a hit. I was not a happy camper.

Use leaders to build wonders, and don't build armies.

Well I'm only doing this for "coolness" purposes and to see what the screen would look like.

I agree with you about the army part, totally blows. Its better to just have a stack of cavalry and watch them attack, retreat.
