What is the best WW2 scenario, in your opinion?

Either World War Two in Europe by Harlan Thompson or Red Front by Captain Nemo

I'd say any of Nemo's WW2 scenarios: RF, Second Front (SF), and the Blitz. Also Case's Battle for Australia and The Cruel Sea are interesting.

Matter of tastes...
Hiya Boris..
There are so many WWII scenarios out there, you really have your choice to play ones that have completely different feels, strengths, and ambitions. What do you want to play, you know? Europe only, North Afrika, perhaps the whole world, or only the Pacific theatre... Eastern Front only. Some are so fixed that they are on only one battle or phase of the war. Second Front is a history-rich depiction of only the Battle for Normandy. Stalingrad will be... uhhh the Batlle for Stalingrad. Personally I think Red Front is still the best WWII scen for CivII.

Well, I'm looking for an Europe/North AFrica global scenario.
And thanks, Eyn - but don't worry, I speak French.

Oncle Boris
If you wish to have REAL FUN, you play the scenario that goes with the game, but you start as one of the smaller civs (French, Neutral, Spaniard or Turk).
Here is the tiny Hall of Fame:
French (april 61): La Fayette
Neutral (oct 58): Fire Dragon
Spaniards (june 57): Sten Sture
Turks (dec 61): Fire Dragon
(look at my thread 'arriba' in the strategy forum for more details)
I must dl and play Eyn's scenario some day
(La Fayette, sorry not to have played the best French scenario of ww2 yet)

Speaking of Afrika Corps scenarios, no one has made a good Afrika Corps scenario. It would be hard to simulate, with the supply routes and all, but it would be well worth it.

John Petroski made what looked like a good North Africa Scen but it was for MGE so I couldn't try it. Its probably still around somewhere...

Well, I haev MGE and I tried it. Some how I didn't get the "good" playability. I was the Allies and after butcher the Italian offensive for 2 turns, I was racing to Tripoli and ready to invade Italy and as the Axis, I was in Alexandria in four turns. Maybe, some thing isn't right with mine? It just seemed to easy, like I was never in danger of losing my line.
