new detonator driver support in patch?

I'm wondering if the in-compadability with the new detonator 2181 drivers is something Firaxis is working on for the patch? It certainly is overshadowed by the other more important fixes, as right now using 1410 is no problem. I'm just worried my next game will need the new drivers

I hope so. This is driving me crazy.
I have to run the latest drivers, thus I'm unable to play Civ3.
