Civ - alive and kicking in the UK!
During a recent tour of the games shops in Liverpool, I am happy to report that Civ is much in evidence. (Very different from 12 months ago).

Civ I seems to have been re-launched and now retails for £4.95. Likewise with Civ II, but this retails for £9.99.

A ToT strategy book was in evidence in two stores - but Brits - shop around! In one place it was £15.99 (well thumbed and dirty), but in another outlet it was sealed and cost only £4.99.

The shops visited were: Game, HMV, Virgin and Electronic Boutique.

SG2,

Perhaps the extra 11 pounds was for the thumbprint collection and soil samples. Those could be high value items and worth some real money. Can't have the shopkeeper giving a way valuable items like those.
