About Mods, Patches etc...(I'm a NoCo at this..)

well, is there any patches or anything like to that to take out some bugs, add special game play, add units, or anything like that? I am no computer god here, i'm just a normal 18 year old male...is that possible? Wellllllllllllllllllll just wondering. I bought CTP2 like a week ago, and just bought Civ3 3 days ago. I like CTP wayyyyyyy better, and have been looking to play it online, but everytime I try to connect to the lobby, it ALWAYS says "Can not join the lobby", and I have to start it all over again. Is there any patch or anything that will fix this?

To log on to the multiplayer lobby make sure you have signed on to your internet service provider first. If that doesn't help then try reinstalling the game and downloading the V.1.11 patch from this web site or from activision's web site. To get the most out of the game I suggest installing the apolyton pack as it does a good job of fixing the AI and balancing the units. I hope you enjoy the game.
