hey what happened to my avatar?

is anyone else's avatar missing or is it just my comp?
Am I the only one not blessed with seeing the wonderful avatars next to people's entries?

It's to free up the server. Since Civ3's release, all the guests that popped in from search engines clogged down the site to the point where it shut down due to intense load (cheap, I know). In any event, disabling nonessential features was the only real way to keep Poly up.

In other words, until this heavy traffic dies down and only around 150-220 people are on at a time, including guests and members, you won't see any avatars.
