The queen has to move again ! It is chaos itself, over the board I would be lost, I am afraid. So many variations and so many ideas for both sides. And whatever the move order, you lose possibilites. For example Rh3-e3 is something I won’t do soon. And what’s more, I know that my next move will yet be much tougher to find. Luckily, it’s the same for black !

That move was the only one I could make, I think. But the Hive Queen does not like it there! She's a little bit claustrofobic and the space around her is getting scaringly small...

I had so many plans ! I chose the safer one, following more my intuiton than 4 days of calculation (since Qh6 was forced). But it’s not so safe ...

I may not be able to make my move until next week. An unexpected event will probably take me away tomorrow night and over the week-end.
And I have to look carefully for my next move...

Yes, it's confirmed. I'm leaving for a conference. I'll post next week...
BTW, I mostly looked at 15. h5 and 15. Bh3 (with a3 coming later). Why can you never do as I expect you to do? But maybe it will "only" be a reversed order of moves?

Yes, be careful with the next move !
I hope the unexpected wasn't bad news
h5 and Bh3 were possible as at least 5 other moves
It's so complicated

15 Bc5 was maybe possible with a piece sacrifice ... So many possibilities. I’ve headed for the safest move, because it was too much of a mess for me. Strangely, maybe over the board, I would have tried something else, like 15 Qe4, but here I want to remain careful. You’d have all the time to find dangerous attacking moves.

15. ... Bc5?
I saw nothing but sorrow after 16. b4 ... Be7 (or Bb6?) 17. b5
Or are you thinking of another (i.e. better) sacrifice?

A check is like a corner in soccer, right? The team with the most corners has lead the game, right?

What's more, it was almost checkmate
It's going to be an intersting endgame or should I say a middle game without queens

Yes, but taking away all the pieces and looking at the pawn structure tells me that white is better off.
So let's call it a middle game without queens, ok?

Yes Carolus, your last 4 moves were more or lessed forced. But now, you can think Good luck in this so complicated position
I can see some strenghts and some weaknesses on both sides
Let's call it a middle game then

The possibilities are many, and we have considered many of them, yet we feel that we stand on the edge of a knife.
One move has especially occupied our mind. We fear that it is a dangerous path to thread, yet we have become obsessed with this move. Other, more safe, moves have paled at its side. For good or for worse, we cannot evade its power.
Sing softly at our graves, sweet queens, if it should prove destructive to our folk and pity us not. Bow mildly to our statues, fair kings, if it should prove destructive to our enemies and hail us not. For we do not know the future, and whether we pay the highest price or reap the greatest benefit is a matter for the Gods to decide.
We have spoken. So be it. The rest is silence.
