Seems that the enemy looks upon our move in jest. Be that as it may, the road to the White Lord now lies open. Is the time ripe to pay him a visit? However, we are not in haste.

This is an interesting position, although I doubt not the outcome.
BTW, 0-3!

A kasparovian opening turning into a karpovian position
I like that As I have allowed 3 checks, maybe you let me have one : check-mate.
But it's still a long road and as far as I know it could go either way
I face a tough decision : where to put my king
I'll post my move tomorrow

That I doubt not, my friend. But "let me" must be accompanied by "will be forced to"!

Thanks, Smash.
But the 0-3 is in my favour. I have 3 checks and Julius none and I compared that to corner kicks in soccer in an earlier post. The team with the most corners has been leading the game, playing more offensively. All in jest, of course.
Unfortunately, the team with most corners doesn't necessarily win...

Ke2 was bad (the pin)
Ke1 was boring
Nd2 was solid
Kc2 was then the only choice

This is my second game with Julius. We had a french bataille with me as white. I launched a premature king side attack.
The pitiful tale can be found here ("David versus Goliat - the end..."):

21. Ke2 was out of the question, I never thought you'd play it.
After 21. Ke1, I was looking at
21 ... Nxc4
22. Bxc4 ... Bxc4
23. Rxc4 ... c5
After 21. Kc2, at least I can now close the c-line and mess up your pawn structure on the queen side. But I have to think about it first...

Returning to the 24th move (after 23. Rxc4 ... c5) in the post above, I was thinking of 24 ... Rab8 (or Rd3 if possible).

Another watershed for me. I could go for the exchange and close the c-line, but being the challenger I have to try better than that. Whether it is better or simply a move that brings me down (it does not feel completely sound), I've decided to play...

I thought you would play the bishop move
I found my reply in the hot waters of a thermal pool in a winter station
Definitely a cool move then

What do you mean
It 's a 50/50 game, although I prefer white
But it is only because I play white

Funny, from my side of the board I only see an end game with whitish flavour. I'm despairing... But that's only because I play black!
