Trumpet sound Question
Can anyone answer a couple of newbie questions?
1.What do the trumpet sounds/graphics mean?
2.I keep hearing a voice saying "not on this turn sir" what does this mean?
Any help greatly appreciated

1. I guess you mean the end of turn sound (I don't know if it is really trumpet) but if you hear the end of turn sound all units got their orders meaning wait, move, attack, sleep, fortify and so on. So you can press on the end of turn button that is now highlighted. Of coarse there are still units that can be moved like a fortified or a unit that sleep or just should wait. But if the unit not have enough move points to do something you will hear such a sound like: "Not on this turn Sir." (2.)

Still Confused!
I don't mean the end of turn sound, which i've turned off.
I mean the sound of the trumpet which plays along with the short graphic of the two trumpets which hover for a moment over one of my opponents units every so often.

Its a diplomatic thing. Either an embassy was established at that city, or a unit was expelled. (There may be more things that cause it, but most likely an expulsion)

piracy and pillage also generate this trumpet sound I believe...
If your screenview is not right on the crime scene, you 'll have to look for enemies on your territory or trade routes.
