There is no stacked text movement. They are having to move over the text word by word by word. It's also taking more time than usual because the Go To command is broken again.

I received mine by post. International Registered, that must have cost them. And it was signed by Sid & Jeff themselves!

After reading the forums for a while now [I never post until I get a feel for the board]... I get the strange feeling you complain for the sake of complaining.
To be sure, there are problems with the game, but while asking for the text file was premature, that is no reason for you to hijack the thread with your non-humourous pun.
Everyone knows you don't like Civ3, why do you keep jumping up and down yelling it?

Hmm, Akka got the joke. It's called constructive (or not) happy negativism. And there's not enought space in one thread to say it beyond that. Enjoy!

Hey, speak for yourself, it gave me a much-needed laugh. I was grumpy about not seeing the readme.txt until I read that.

Yes, yes, hurry and post the text file so people can start complaining about what isn,t included in the patch. The only thing I am really hoping is in the patch is a fix for the air superiority bug and a real in game editor feature.

I understand that the text will be released in its entirety here in North America, but, unfortunately for those of you in Europe and Australia, 99% of it will be lost to corruption and waste as soon as it leaves the continent.

The governor of Firaxis Town is still building caravels so it might be some time until it reaches europe.

Settle down folks... its only 10:45 here in the Eastern US Time zone (where Firaxis is located)... I suspect that if it makes it out today it'll be out probably early to mid afternoon eastern US time. (Probably about the time they used to finally post the Civ of the Week updates, etc...) Who knows where they'll post it, maybe here or maybe on their website or maybe they won't post it at all and were just trying to mess with us..
