We have done an outstanding job getting dates and information on a wealth of topics! But my goal is for this to be actually used by Firaxis, and to do that, we need to really nail down dates and sources as best we can.

Well, I'm going to call this section finished and open the next one.

J.S.Bach's Cathedral:
I want to emphasize there NEVER existed a Bach Cathedral. J.S.Bach(1685-1750) worked in Arnstadt(1703), Mühlhausen(1707), at the ducal court of Weimar(1708), and the court of Köthen(1717). From 1723 till his death he was cantor of the Thomaskirche. Here he worked by far the longest part of his life and most of his masterpieces were composed here. So if a Bach cathedral has to be chosen this would be my choice, though the building itself is just an ordinary church. And during his lifetime Bach was treated in a chary and condescending manner by the local authorities. They never understood they were housing a true genius!

Because with this Wonder the building was nothing, his music everything, I think this Wonder cannot be dated more precisely than the dates of Bach's life.
Perhaps the composition of the Matthäus Passion(1729), a true monument of Western Christendom and a milestone in Western music, would be an intelligent choice.
