I don't know what it is, but the AI mapping seems worse after the patch than before.
Imagine this: You order a Tank to move South. First few squares are rail, then road, then rail.
The AI Mapping decides that heading West, South, East, North through a Right of Passage ally is the fastest route. Hm. Okay.
Tank heads west one square and bumps into a wall of ally troops.
Tank stops, re-evaluates path, heads East.
Tank stops, re-evaluates path, heads West.
Bumps into wall of allies.
Tank stops, re-evaluates path, heads East.
Tank stops, re-evaluates path, heads West.
Bumps into wall of allies.
Tank stops, re-evaluates path, heads East.
Tank stops, re-evaluates path, heads West.
Bumps into wall of allies.
Tank runs out of movement points.
Can't you (Firaxis) develop something where a unit remembers blocked paths and doesn't consider these in it's current turn of mapping calculation?
