Recommendation to Artists
If you have drawn city, unit, or any other form of graphics for Civ2, I highly recommend collecting them into authoritative *.gifs for use by those who make scenario for Civ2 and other games. BTW, Bernd's and Nemo's (FMK's?) collections are excellent in their usage of labels and subdivisions.
If I ever get a working FTP (Yo Markos! Directory viewing rights aren't good for much.), I'll probably upload such collections to the new SLeague. In the meanwhile, feel free to post links to your existing and new collections in this thread.

Yes they are in the graphics showcase thread. I have been cataloging all of Nemo's WWII units and some of my own. Check it out!

Is anyone doing the units in Civ3 so they can be used in Civ2?
Or, are the multiple animations they display causing some problems?

Leonidas, Civ2 units are single-framed.
AroSc did a Civ3 units collection for Civ2, but only with preview units.

Few people (Hendrik, Stefan) are posting actual collections in there. Furthermore, I'm asking for links rather than actual graphics files which would have to comply with the forum's 200k rule.

Define authoritative *.gifs. I've haven't the foggiest notion about the point you're trying to make. It must be me, coz everyone who has replied here seems to get it.

What are you implying with my name in parenthesis?
I would be glad to do something like a big WWII compilation with names etc. Its dorky to sit and draw stuff merely for nice presentation, but fun at the same time, and I love to procrastinate so this is right up my alley.

Containing all or most of your work.

Were you not the person who compiled the Nemo collections?

Would that be the Complete Nemo, Petroski, and Darthveda? I'm looking for high-quality artwork here meaning no early Harlan or McCarth.

I think most of these compilations (at least those available on my side) were done by the ANZAC

Many of the art I made can be found on my website under Ikons.
All those made by Mathias Koester. I could make on big collection containing all the art I ever made if you like to have one. There are many small things I made that are too small to be presented on their own.

I said that what Harlan drew in '96 is worse than what is being drawn right now.

He he, yeah fellas. Those weren't done by me. This is what I have as an address for the Nemo compilations by ANZAC. There have been so many new additions by many people that I do think a Nemoesque compilation in the same style but of other kid's works would be in order.

Yes, thank you FMK for giving me credit. To think someone was giving it to you! Yeah a Nemoesque collection is in order. Jimmy, Scott, Case, Hobbes (maybe? You tell me!), FMK, and myself have all been doing the drawings Nemoesque.
