It's December not April
Thanks for fixing..err I mean not fixing the corruption in the patch. I thought April fool's day was in April not in December . How about a new patch that really corrects the corruption issue. In my new game I started last night after installing the patch, my corruption increased after I went from Republic to Democracy. I have also built couthouses in over half my cities but it still makes no difference. Maybe in the new patch make corruption not exceed a certain percentage of the toal shields. I suggest a maximum corruption factor of 40% in cities with a courthouse. PLEASE, PLEASE fix this irritating portion of the game .

Did you use an old save? It is said that some of the fixes don't apply on old games, start a new and see if there is less corruption.

It says plainly there that it was a new game.

The theme of the patch is the same as the theme of the game...if its fun, take it out, if it is tedious, frustrating and irksome, lets have more of it..

Civ3: a civ to far (or, how to make a game covering a 6050 year period feel like it takes 6050 years to play)

Police stations now decrease corruption. It's close to the only corruption change in the patch. With courthouse + police station, you really do rarely get more than 40% corruption. Try it!

I noticed a decrease in corruption.

You know you can fix the corruption issues in the editor now too. Which IMO is actually much better than just changing it- now WE can decide!

How do we go about changing the corruption settings in the editor? I didn't even realize there was an editor that we could use to change game settings.
