Bravo to the graphics mods creators!!
I just wanted to say thanks to all the graphics mods creators. I am NOT an artist but the improvements from Snoopy and M_M_X are fantastic. I personally do not downloads mods that change the mechanics of the game but do for those that improve how it looks. Outstanding work!! I look forward to more mods.

I have both Civ and Civ II on floppies. Soooo....no I'll stay with Civ III. If you want screen shots, check out the mod downloads forums. Check out the graphics mods. I have been playing Civ for almost 10 years, the third installment is fantastic. If you read my post, you will see that I do not change the mechanics of the game just how it looks. There is always room for improvement. That is why there is a civ editor out there. Cheers.

Look under the downloads or mods section of the forum. Look for Sn00py or M_M_X. Check out the "goodys" by M_M_X or bluewater mod by Sn00py. Sn00py has another mod that changes the forests and other things. You will see that it is better.

I generally shy away from unofficial mods.
But in CivIII I've made exceptions, and fortunately so.
Che Palle's wonder screens with info is awesome. Not essential, I suppose, since you can always access the civlopedia. But the mod is so well crafted that it integrates with the actual game seemlessly.
Sn00py's terrain graphics. Cannot possibly reccomend this highly enough! If you're playing CivIII you need to download and install these files. It seems trivial just reading about it, but the more realistic terrain really makes the game come alive. Get it ASAP.
Both of these gentlemen (and many other modders as well) deserve a round of applause from the CivIII community, as well as from Firaxis and Infogrames.

Try Skycraper City View MOD.
You'll like it.
It's on Creation Forum (until moved to files forums).

Wholeheartedly agreed! I dont even notice that its a mod, because thats the way the game should have worked in the first place. And the way he made those screens fits very well with the games overall "look". Excellent work, Che Palle
