Getting ready to place base #5, pod production base.
Basically (pun intended), I'm pretty happy with my start. I'm definately on an island, though, which is going to have some definate effects on my long-term strategy, I guess. If it weren't for the spectre of my neighbors, I'd be pretty confident.
I wonder if they have crawlers already?

Trouble with native life.
Oddly enough, all my bases are covered in white flakes of some sort. Damned strange. We're staying inside and burning trees.
