Too Many Units?
I just got a message in my game that 'there are too many units. cannot build another. disband some units.' What's up with this? I have the no limits patch, shouldn't that correct this?

There is a limit to the number of units possible in a game. I can't remember what they are, somebody will follow up with the numbers - something like 1700 for one civ, 2500 for all.

Yes, Smash is correct for the numbers. Actually Marko managed to get more than 2200 with an “improved” version of a special patch, but it still did crash.
The no-limits is only for money, population and gigamaps !
It cannot resolve the units and cities limit.

There is no way to exceed the limit without having the game crash

That happened to me yesterday. The Turks have a fundamentalist government and seem to build too many units.
But at least they stopped attacking me on 3 different fronts.
