I think he is referring to the city named Apolyton, hence the name of this site and where the co-owner of this site lives, Greece.

Hmmm, I am greek and I have never heard such a name for a city.. Apolyton means absolute and it is a adjective : we might say : he is apolytos, which in this case means someone is absolute in his opinion. Anyway I see it as a tribute to the guy at this site.
Here in Athens (suburbs) we have 50 cm of snow!!! (a liltle kess than 2 feet) It is amazing.....
Apostolos
Happy civing....

There is no city named Apolyton, as far as I know- apolyton was a word that means FINAL in greek (at least that is what they say in the community section)
THus it was both a pitch to the site and a joke for the developers to include it as the LAST city for the greeks

Go to CivEdit.
Change rules. (Disable standard rules first)
Pick "Civilizations"
Pick "Greece"
Go down all the city names
et voilá: "Apolyton"

There is a city of Greece named Apolyton in the game.
It's down the list a ways. Build more cities!
