GRAPHICS: Stone Interface 0.5e
Main
Well I made a nice white marbly stone texture and played with it. I think it looks more epic and more fun. And the game was all too yellow anyway.
I haven't replaced everything. Partially because I liked some things, and partially because I had no time.
I hope you think it's nice, and I appriciate feedback or assistance.
Changed
The yellow stone with green specks that Civ 3 uses isn't all that great or impressive, and I was quite annoyed with it.
The 1pixel black line border was ugly.
Plus, I absolutely DESPISE the "cardboard texture" which is the texture for the "elevated" things in the interface. Think about the cardboard on the sides of all advisors.
Plans
I plan to make the negociations table a wooden table with papyrus paper.
I plan to change the civilopedia into something better looking, like a book.
Basically, I was lazy since civilopedia has dozens of different graphic files and it's a b!tch to edit them all.
Bugs
I am also aware of the exit button bug which changes lighting on mouse over.
Get it
The patch itself is compressed in RAR and is 5.7 MB.
It contains only the files one should change, devided already into sub directories.
I'd advise you to back up your ART folder and extract the RAR file into it.
The file can be reached at http://www.sirotnikov.f2s.com/civ3/
I really want feedback

Not that I think less of you, but you already told me that on ICQ and I want other people to give feedback too.

Well, judging from the screenshots it is very nice but the donwload rate is crappy, I canceled the first try (after the display showed it would need nearly two hours - with DSL ), and now no connection can be estabished...is it available on another location too?

Can download now, but I get errors while unpacking some (not all) of the files.
However, what I´ve seen so far looks great

Nah, I don't visit Apolyton very much these days. Only now and then, when Apolyton is faster then a snail. Many, many new faces here. The community isn't what it used to be. All for the better I suppose. Maybe I should reinstall Civ3 and snag a few dozen new mods. Too bad about the lack of scripting language though. How much does the patch fix?

I have some of the files, I don't think I have the whole set, but I will send you what I have. Someone already emailed me asking for them, so they should be somewhere close in a zip file gotta dig it out. In the set that I have is the city screen amongst everything else (since I piggybacked off of them to make my own lightning enhanced version
