Germany hereby surrenders to the Republic of France. A cable has been sent to Paris by which Berlin accepts the capitulation of France. All cities in the German Empire still in German control have been turned over to the government in Paris under condition that they be not be set foot on by the pathetic tea drinking islanders and the dirty Russian pigs. Or any pasta scoffing Italian.

winterfritz, in order to do this, we both need to be online so that we run the negotiations as a real MP game so that I can turn over the government to France.
Have you got ICQ?

El, this is a pre-mediated attack - the whole demanding tribute thing was just a way to let Soundwave get around the parliament and attack you without having a revolution. Please don't leave the game as a result of the way the Civ game engine works!

Yeah, soundwave just needed a reason to be able to attack, nothing personal. We're not trying to screw you over by negotiating with the AI.

Spanish Coast Secured
Following bombardments by the Entente battlefleet, Italian soliders have entered Valencia and Cartegena. The troops were mobbed by Spanish civilians grateful for being liberated from General AI's rule.

To be honest, I dled this scenario to play the PBEM, I didn't know what to expect. To be quite frank, I am disappointed at several things that are unhistorical. I mean, for chrissake, whatever happened with the German army, second biggest only to France and to German industrial might. I abhorred the fact that a nation like Germany is stuck with a government like monarchy at the beginning, when Germany was also supposed to be the more efficiently run bureaucracy in the world at the time period and stuck in it for long, as the need for taxes hampers your technological growth, granting France and Britain an almost immediate advantage.
And, I knew you'd all been planning this ever since I found myself isolated. It was too obvious.

And for chrissake, no submarines? How the hell was I supposed to hamper British shipping with my low production ports?
No, I'm not staying, I will play one more turn where I turn all my remaining cities over to France.

El Awrence please keep playing.. please
I will support the New Austria.. i'd keep playing...
BTW... i was dissapointed as well German is was a huge nation... and should have had a great army, as well as france.. also Britian the Mightest Fleet hasn't even got more ships than Russia at the Start!!?? whats with that?
Also... Ottomans were backwards.. back they were one of the Largest Popualtions in European Sphere!!
Also in 1900 Austria still had alot of rail.. they dont even have ROADS in this Scen...

Bye bye El Awrence. It was great to have you play. Sorry about the way things turned out. At least maybe you can exact revenge in the American Empire PBEM
Sorry about not posting during this rather eventful time all, but the weekend unexpectedly became very busy for me. But I'm back now.
Soundwave, sorry, but theres not much point in having an Austria without El Awrence. And I'd rather you didn't swap nations in the middle of a PBEM. Whats wrong with the British?

BTW El Awrence, France graciously accepts your surrender. We just have to postpone the handover until the Entente finally agrees on who gets what (*hints at incredible amount of email negotiations taking place as we speak*)
