Case, the Battleship is in landlocked Denizli...
We'll need to swap it back online (your AI doesn't want it!) (OOC: that might give us an opportunity to chat about Discworld!)
Not much to say, except that I'm sorry about the delay...

The first freight line from the Turkish Republic to London has been established, bringing many riches to both nations!
And the 2 battleships built by the famous Napoli Shipyards have taken service in the Ottoman Navy!
All is well in Turkey...
And the save:

Russia apologizes to Britain for the shoddy shape of its RRs in the lower Balkans. If Britain wants to reach southern Russia, she can take the Far North connection by Tannenburg, the Northern connection by warsaw, or the Central connection east of Breslau.
NEP Legislation passed!
Russia has spent many years building up for threatening, fake cold wars; holding on to Germany and reaping the profits; and just getting a rail system and bare minimum standards of living in place. After seeing Russian profits and livelyhood drying up after the creation of a new Germany, and the loss of some major production cities, and forseeing that this will continue as Germany gains more cities, Prime minister Anzakov announced today that work begun earlier this year will come together in one bill.
He got his pen ready to sign the New Economic Program (NEP) which will bring the focus back to developing cities in Russia, not in the liberated territories, and will now focus more on developing than connecting the cities which has been completed with the exception of a few bypasses. New hope is in the air and progress can be seen already and is making a big impact on the Russian economy's growth. It is projected that nearly 50% of Russia's top cities will be at peak production by the end of the decade.

I actually wasn't being sarcastic, there's been a lot done, including in Russia, in the past several turns. I'm actually just heading for Sofia with that one freight, so it looks like it might be best to just take an old riverboat

Russia understands, but just wanted to let Britain know about the state of the Balkan RR.
Also Russia would like permission from Turkey to hook up to the Trans-Balkan Railway headed out from Istanbul.

The Turkish Government agrees whole-heartedly!
And Turkish Rail will start building the necessary bypasses (around Skopje or around Adrianople??)

Spectacular Bastille Day celebrations marked this year's July, with elephants and fireworks and fairy floss and all sorts of cool stuff.
NOTE: If any other nation wants a rail bypass around any particular French city (most have them now anyway), then forward an application in writing to the Department of Internal Transportation and Trade. Said Department will do its best to grant your wishes.

Russia would still like a run down of the Trans-Balkan railroad so we can hook up to it...

If you come to Skopje or Adrianople, I'll buld the necessaty bypasses so that you're connected to the Trans-Balkan railroad!
Just tell me which is the most convenient for you!

Adrianople seems the better choice. I have engineers in the area which can help build bypasses too.
