This month a lucrative shipment of Manufactured goods has reached Edinburgh from Palmero. A very large share of the proceeds (800 gold) has been donated to the British government in return for services rendered to Italy.

Spanish Reclamation Project Announced
The French government has initiated a new development program, SPARP, designed to modernise the Spanish hinterland.
'The poor countryside and under-industrialized cities of Spain have long lagged behind their counterparts in northern Europe,' stated the Internal Minister for Industry, 'and especially so under the brutally repressive regime of General AI. Now however, is the time to redress those imbalances.'
SPARP will focus on providing a modern infrastructure in major Spanish cities, to both attract foreign investors and make the environment a favourable one in which Spanish business can emerge.
In related news, the international trial of General AI continues to drag on, although the General has had little success in defending himself against multiple charges of mass murder, repression and brutality.

Sorry, I'm well aware it's my turn but my net access died and leave it to the University's technicians to sit on the report for a week without doing anything about it. Not bad for government work.
If I nag them and still no one comes by the end of Monday, I'll have to hire a private technician and be out $50. Either way I'll get all of my 10+ late turns finished within 12 hours of it getting fixed.

Some freight delivered to London.
Much infrastructure built.
The Adrianople Bypass is finished: Istanbul is now connected to Moscow!
And a gift of 150 Millions £ has been made to the British Empire to thank them for their continuous support to the young turkish democracy!

Guys, looking at this thread I think we might need a sub for Winterfritz. How long should we wait?

I saw on another thread that you sent him a mail!
I propose that if he doesn't answer in 2-3 days, then we look for a sub, BUT that Winterfritz can lead France again when he comes back (after all, he started the game over 50 pages ago, and is probably still interested in it!).

Well that's three days, should I put his slot up for grabs? If you want I can put a disclaimer that anyone who subs might have to be temporary, in case he comes back.

Henrik said in this post that Winterfritz said to arrange for subs, so I've put this game's slot in the sub threads.

I fully agree: we need a sub, and if possible not a "final" player!

Neither do I: I didn't spend 1 year building a democratic Turkey just to see it disappear because the pbem dies...
So, what's the status now:
- any news from Winterfritz??
- any potential sub ?? Maybe we could ask H Tower??

We're not waiting for Winterfritz, we're waiting for someone to sub. If nobody offers, then we go out and beg people, and if still nobody comes game over.
