Small Bug
I think I have found a small bug in Civ III. As we al probably know by now, civilisations live on, even when there last city is destroyed, so long as they have an active settler. Killing the settler kills off that civilisation. However, in a recent game I played, the Babylonians where reduced to one settler. However, they put it in a boat before the last city was taken. When I sank the ship however, the game crashed. I restarted the game and computer repeatedly, only for the same result to occur. It seems the game can not handle this sceniro.

At least I assume this is the case, it could of course be something unbeknown to me, (maybe there was no settler...etc).

'Tis known already, I believe. One option is to get another civ to destroy it (which I think works). Otherwise, donate an empty city to the civ, sink the ship, and capture the city.

Thanks for the info, Chowlett. I wasn't sure if it had been found yet by others or not.

Sean.

I think this was fixed in the 1.16f patch. Don't know for sure because it has never happened to me.
