I would love to take part in this interesting (and might i add exciting) venture. VIVA LA LIBERTY
I was going to insert a nice pic of the SOL but couldn't figure out how to insert it into the test.

You are most welcome here, Caesar the Great!
We will be happy to reform your bourgeois OTF lifestyle to one compatible with the Ppl's Paradise which is the Civ2 Democracy Game!
Your only responsibilities are to read the threads, vote in polls, and voice your learned opinion. When you want to. Piece of cake!

you would need to have the game if you want to be elected, especially president, however if you just wish to be a citizen in our game and vote on polls and voice an opinion. You can also join a political party too. AAAC... AAAC... AAAC...

I think our game files are only readable with the Civ2 MGE (Multiplayer Gold Edition).

multiplayer gold has everything the other versions have, with additional capabilities - mostly about scenarios. There are countless excellent, fun scenarios to download and play, I recommend MGE. The most fun $10 will buy you this side of Bangkok!

I have no clue, I haven't looked for it in years. Try one of those links at the bottom of the page, maybe that will lead you in the right direction...
