Don't know. But why don't you put it in there and find out.
One question I have. If this gets moved to the EU forum, will I get credit for this post? Or will it not count and this will have been for nothing?

It will run at 800*600 16bit.
you'll experience slowdowns as you get into the game with only 64MB of ram though. Strangely enough, i found my win2000 professional laptop with 64MB ram handled the mem requirements a lot better than my wife's ME laptop with 64MB ram

It should work fine, though you may experience slowdowns, and CTDs (crash to desktops). Its an endemic problem that pops up from time to time, so keep autosave on yearly.

EU1 should run fine with 64 meg, how fast is your PII? I used to run EU1 on a 450mhz with 64 MB no problem.
EU2 on the other hand is a different story, there i would recommend 128 MB or even more.
Also like Shadowstrike says set autosave to save every Jan 1st.

EU 1 runs fine at 1280 by 760 on a P 220 with 32MB of ram.
I know from experience

EU1 only runs at 800x600.
It will automatically switch the resolution to that.
I used to run it on a Cyrix P200 on 64MB.
Just make sure that all background programs are stopped (Ctrl+Alt+Delete) and that you download the 1.10 patch.
You may need to run with the music switched off but thats no hardship - the music soon gets irritating!
Its worth going to the forum and having a read of the EU1 section. You dont have to join to read

Uglyduck, did they ever fix the 1.10 patch? As I recall, 1.09 was the last one that worked right.

1.10 with the music off seems to work just fine for me.
I don't know about 16 bit- but I bet you could run it.

1.10 was really a Multiplayer patch and, no, it didnt work properly for multiplayer even after that.
If you have 1.09 then I suggest you stick with that unless you have broadband access to multiplayer and would like to try it.
If you do try it then save patch 1.09 safely first as you might like to return to it!
The multiplayer in EU2 is much better and gives access to a dedicated server something like Battlenet. You will still need Broadband access for decent play though.
To sum up: if multiplayer is not for you stick with 1.09
