Is there a patch or mod to fix the music?
I don't know if I am the only one here who likes the sound track but I am tired of hearing the same song over and over again. Any thing I can do?
I also tried just playing the songs but I cant find them on the disk. Are they hidden files or something?

See this thread in CtP1 Creation, the exact same thing applies to CtP2 as well.
(The easiest way to play different music from the default stuff is to simply turn off the music inside CtP2 and run Wimamp in the background instead)

Well said Locutus, nothing beats hitting those beaches to the sound of the March of the Valkyries (Wagner). Or send the bombers against a rival city to the sound of the music from the 477 squadron (some old English film). Even the death march is useful just before you take another civ out of the game.
So how can I gain access to winamp whilst in the middle of a game? or do I have to save change the music and reload?

Well, Queen is amongst my favorite themes for CtP2 music:
"And another one gone, and another one gone, and another one bytes to dust" - I took another city/civ
"We are the champions of the world" - I won!
"Who wants to live forever?" - Just lost an important stack
"Oh, you're my best friend" - My ally is supporting my when I need it most
"Play the game, play the game, play the game" - fits any situation
"I want it all, I want it all.....and I want it now!" - I'm on the attack!
"Don't stop me now, I'm having such a good time, I'm having a ball" - Just one more turn...
etc, etc...

Indeed, Clubbed to Death is great:
1) Fantastic number
2) It's from The MATRIX!!!
2) Very civvish music (fits in well with the tracks on the CD)
3) The title somehow always reminds me of the CtP1 Warrior... Blood shall run!
Especially now I've got my stereo linked up to my pc and I get all the sounds and music over 4 speakers in stereo dolby surround at a very loud volume, music like this makes the whole playing experience much better. 'Blood shall run' sounds even cooler at very loud volume in dolby surround with lots of extra bass
