Presenting The Cruel Sea 2.0
After a mere six months of promising it 'soon', version 2.0 of my scenario 'The Cruel Sea' is now finished, and has been submitted to Apolyton and Civfanatics.
It features new units, sounds and greatly expanded events.
In addition the AI now fights more realistically, and the huge build up of ships in the Bay of Biscay is a thing of the past.
As it will take a few days for the scenario to come up on the sites, I'm posting the files below.
----------
First: the game files (183 Kb)

Second: the graphics (410 Kb).
These two files are all you need to get the scenario working.

How ironic. First to download but I'll probably be the last to try it.
Oh well. Looking forward to playing it though.

I'm 2nd. As soon as Red October is out for playtesting (next weekend, I'm almost certain) I'll give it a whirl. I've been looking forward to this one.

The scenario is now up at Civ Fanatics, and can be downloaded at: http://www.civfanatics.com/civ2scenmod.shtml
Ignore the screenshots that show up - they're taken from version 1.0 and not 2.0

Hey Case, Thanks! A very nice scenario....can't wait to see what my final score is.
One question: How do you feel about operating Me-110s from carriers? Not a big deal, but I wouldn't mind some clarification.
Thanks again.

I'd say that they shouldn't be operated. That leaves you with Fighters, Stukas and Fw-190's (in part two).
