I realised that in my competetion in the island top 5/10 I'm surrounded by 7 Orcs. So I'm going to increase my normal defense even more, to 70DPA. The problem is that this will seriously hinder my growth, and i'm now looking for some changes in my strat to increase my income.

Today I reached 2900 acres and started another sci pump.

I had to rebuild more than 800 acres, and it costed me around the 2 million gc.
The sci pump will continue for 3-5 days.

BUILDINGS

* New Building Costs rise more slowly now

* Hospitals: 10% Birthrate Increase
* Libraries: Additional 2.5% (50% Max) Decay Reduction of science points
* Dungeons: Prisoners now work 4/job instead of 5/job
* Homes: No upkeep cost; 1% homes raises max population by 1/3%; Homes are affected by Utilization
* All Lands house 25 people

SCIENCES

* Science points will decay over time
* Fewer science points are needed compared to this round
* Maximum Housing Science has been lowered

ATTACKING

* War Meter slowly decays each day
* Conquest is a bit weaker for non-generals
* Gains formulas have been adjusted a bit
* Distance Penalty will take effect beginning 3 islands away instead of 2
* Armies only require maintenance while at home

MAGIC / THIEVERY

* Strength of various ops changed
* Night Strike now killed Defensive Specialists and Elites for Rogues Only
* Nature's Blessing available to All Races - does not duplicate Fertile Lands any more
* Ghost Workers, Clear Sight available to Elves
* Amnesia only available to Elves and Faeries

MISCELLANEOUS

* Lowered the base birthrate
* Higher basic peasant income
* New tiered bonus system

Along with various bug fixes and some cosmetic changes, that's all we have planned for now. Many of these may be tweaked over the next 48 hours and final changes will be posted Sunday.
