Try to have as few options as possible. This avoids the Nader -effect
(many will have to vote not-so-worse out of 2, even if they would like some-else option.
This is disturbing, since just little bits of speculation on replies will crab the poll out)

Please would all pollers to set a end-time for polls(you can do it when you create them) and tell it to people so that they vote in time. leaving it totally open could lead to the poll being dragged on forever!
