Apolyton 100: ver 2.00 Suggestions/Comments
Well...
I welcome all comments...
Especially suggestions.
And yes, the 100 HAVE been updated since July 2001- I just haven't updated EVERY profile and yes the grammar has been overall improved and made more coherent
And yes, a few are numbered incorrectly... and a few who are listed as kings are now emperors, but the list was created in Oct 2001, thus, there are some inconsistencies.
For ver. 3. those inconsistencies will be corrected

Ah, I should have realized the 'of pain'... when I update it to 2.01, I'll fix that. (Hopefully by the end of next week )

You could give yourself a PCR for thinking about your poustcount. That way the list would be more accurate in the same time.

Okay.... Apologies, David was one of the personalities, I DID NOT Update I know he goes to UNT and is about 18-25 or such... How could I write over 40... I do not know???
REPLIES to posts in the Official thread
-
Paul- It is possible to overuse a spam section Over 30 threads with 20 posts or such in each that mean nothing at all However, it is always fun to look at that site
Lazarus- you're on the blocks next time whether you have enough posts or not , with MOBIUS... (Without your Username changes and PCRs you would have been on it today )
Thank you hydey and thank you all.
Tommorrow around 1800 I should be updating it to v. 2.05
-
And about the people on the list: only people who were in the top 110 in numbers of posts made the list
-
oh, and you can thank Solver for bothering me every second month to post this update

It's kinda a bullshit way to measure it. I've got thousands upon thousands of posts in the OTF but they aren't recorded now.
I never post on-topic these days.

This spam monster is a prime example of why it was utterly futile to stop counting posts on the OT.

I wan't a post recount, disregarding all OT posts. (Would be fun to se someone end up with negative PC due to many OT posts, and a big PCR on them.)
(of cource the PCRs should be recounted as well o that no negative PCs would show up (so that your PC/Real PC=Reconted PC (after PCR)/Recounted PC (real)))

Just a few tidbits...
The list is very slanted towards OT and I miss some of the old posters who had quite an impact in the past and people who contribute to civilization games in general: John Barbarossa (founder of the diplogame) , various CTP2 mod editors, the great library maintainers (Civ2 strategy), the great Civ2 scenario makers etc...
Like I said, just a few tidbits...
P.S
Can I get on the list? Pleasssseeee......?
I wrote the diplogame faq in the civ2MP forum, seem to be the local Freeciv promoter. Oh yeah, I also have this very cool avatar!

I don't think it's slanted enough towards the OT.
Some of the biggest OT posters aren't on the list these days because they only started posting a lot after OT posts stopped counting.

okay, IW, I added your corrections
slanted to the OT ????
Only because the OT posters happened to have been here the longest and make the most posts. I would have done this list by merit, but then people would be complaining about not being included.
If the list grows to include Barbarossa, I will gladly include him and you, Cap... but right now the list only includes the top 110 posters (in post count) and... it will include Lazarus due to the fact that he's had his PC zeroed about twice and a few pcrs

What about those of us who have been pretty much PC'ed to 0 because of the stupid OT rules?

It is not, in that case I'd have been in.
I think it is a combination of age and PC that counts.

I've never had a pcr in my life. It would be a bit pointless seeing as I do a perfectly good job of vandalising it on my own.
