SUccession Game
There are a whole lot of posts for setting up this game, so if you want to get to where we actually start playing, click HERE
OK, this will be my first succession game. THe 1st person will have 20 turns, then 15, and the rest 10. Random civ on my edited huge world map , with all 16 civs, difficulty worlord or regent (TBA). Up to six people can join...I will not be able to start it for a few days for reasons explained here . I'm not very experienced and have never done a succession game before, so i wont be too good...Anyone?

Did you try uninstalling properly? Or at tried installing into a different directory?
Either that, or you need to check out your game and maybe the regedit for a bit.

Depends... Personally, I wouldn't mind taking on Babylonians, because of their Scientific And Religious persona.
Plus, nothing can compare to the 2/2 Bowman in the Anciants time

Maybe... The files are 5 MB's themselves. Sometimes more.
I am pretty sure they would have the map that it is included with them. Sorta serves like logic, since you do need the map and the unit placement in the same file, otherwise the unit placement wouldn't know how to place the units.

They don't have to be in the same file...I'm not even sure if they both have to be in the civ3 folder, because it probably just saves the path to the setup when you save.

I am pretty sure you don't need the map...
Lets remember random maps now. They don't have a scenario file, because it all packs up into one big 5 MB save file

I guess I need it all explained to me. Can someone please lay out what all the particulars (including files) are that I must have to play in this game.
Thanks a bunch! I guess we now know who the weakest link is

You need:
A computer.
Civ3 the game.
The .sav file for the succession game.
I don't think you need the map file, it stores that in the .sav file. I think thats all you'll need for this particular game...

Actually, related to the topic above, I believe there was a bug with ICQ that crashed your computer/ICQ Program. The only fix to it was to add yourself to your buddy list. I think its fixed now, but just related to the above post

ICQ is a chat program. Much like MSN Messenger, AIM, Yahoo! Chat, and to some extent, Internet Chat Relay ( IRC )
