You sure you have it? And the sav still doesn't work? Download it again. If it still doesn't work, then post again.

Dunk III wins the election on a platform of "Stockpiling for Future Use" and wins by 2 votes. A picnic is held in honor of the new Head Civver in Port Happy, Dunk III's birthplace.
1959... UN elections are called for. Dunk III decides against holding them for fear of, well, losing.
1960... Dunk III looks at all the pollution and says, "icky".
1961... Mao of the Chinese offers a unsurprisingly lop-sided trade... World Maps and they get Synthetic Fibers. Dunk III considers it, then simply says, "That's it, goodbye Mao."
1962... A technology called recycling is discovered. Now Civvers have to place green plastic bins full of "recyclables" on their curbs once a month for the recycle man to come by and get. Also, Global Warming causes a forest fire near Antioch.
1963... The city of Uraniumfish is founded near Purplebowl.
1964... The city of Bonn revolts and rejoins the German nation. Darn Krauts.
1965... Dunk III has a sandwich.
1966... A strange, bald-headed woman claiming to be Joan of Arc offers to trade World Maps with Dunk III... Dunk III rubs her head and says, "Ok."
1967... A peace treaty is signed with Greece. I mean, really, what's the point? Sri Lanka isn't worth the transport.
1968... Dunk III decides to produce several Recycling Plants across Civland. And there was much rejoicing. Yay. (pennants waving).
Notes...
We now have tons of modern armor. The Germans have them as well. I beleive we can soon overwhelm them in a single turn so that we don't have to worry about war-grumpiness.

I'm worried about the Iroquis winning a cheap "space victory." Maybe we should move them up on our hit list and forget Germany for now. I don't see any huge advantage in crushing them...although that's never stopped us (or me, personally) before.

Good point about the Iriquois. I read a good strategy on here about invading overseas civs.
1) Build a settler and numerous military units.
2) Go found a city in their territory as a base and fill it with the military units.
3) They will declare war.
4) Now we have a good starting point for an invasion that isn't as likely to flip as one of their cities. And, they start the war, not us.

Screenshots
I've been following your game now for a while, and its going pretty well (keep up the good work)
Just one note, could those doing game reports attatch a screenshot to them; it makes the game much easier (and more fun) to follow.
Cheers....

And now for some more bad news.
There were approximately 7 units in Bonn. I figured we'd get it back later. There are a lot of undefended cities in Africa.

Wait, I thought you couldn't build cities in other people's territory And the risk of things getting nuclear is serious...

guys...
i dont know if any of u knew this but u dont have to put tons of units into a city to stop it from flipping.
IF u go into the city and make more happy faces then content which makes a I love the king day it will never flip...
i do that on my campaigns shove liek 1 military unit in the city and then make all people inside it entertainers

but it would have to be size 6 to have WLKD...i guess we could build 4 settlers and make sure we build it on a river (no aqueduct hassles)

Nukes, schmukes, as long as we make sure the Iroquis are more damaged than us, I am comfortable with it.

Well, I never tried it, but I read it on here.
I forget who the poster was, but he said, yes, you can build cities in other players' territory. It is an act of war though. The AI will declare war on us and we possibly would take a diplomatic hit (like our rep is any good anyway). But, the AI does start the war.
Just a thought.

If you have four or more units in a city it won't flip. It was a change in the last patch.
I'm with Sovy...what's an occasional nuclear holocaust?
If a size six city is all entertainers...it won't be size six very long.

ive had it flip also but the thing is.
When it does flip u can just take it right back then do it again.
The entertainers works better then the military crap.
and u have to have i believe.. 1 military unit for each resistor for it to work so screw that.

Another strategy...
Sign ROP with Iriquois.
Station enough troops outside each city to take it in one turn.
After 20 turns, end ROP legally.
Iriquois say, "Get out of my territory." Civvers reply, "No, prepare for WAR."
North America turns orange on the mini-map.
No spaceship from Iriquois. Yay.
Rinse, lather, repeat. No civs will be scared of ROP with us since we didn't sneak attack while we had it.
