Preventing UN Loss
Simple question:

What is the best way to prevent the loss of the game due to the UN Victory?

(Assuming you've been very war-like, and likely have many enemies)

Who controls whether a vote occurs?

1) Turn off Diplomatic victory when creating the new game.

2) If not 1, then make sure you build the UN.

Control
The owner of the UN controls when votes are taken. You must build it or capture it as soon as you can.
