Warning!
Backup your civ3mod.bic before installing if you've changed it! I just wiped out the whole Libertarian civ and all its attributes.

OMG I have stacked movement! Great!
And the patch even seems to have no problems with 1.16f savegames. I was in a battle with lots of bombers, tanks and artillery before in my old game. The difference is obvious! Warfare is certainly 200% more fun.
Lib, what were the attributes?

Yeah, Lib, though it's off topic, I'd like to know what the attributes and UU of the "Libertarian Civ" are. How about Great Leaders?

Well, it doesn't look like I"ll be able to play the patch until Saturday, so while this may be great news for many it still means I have to wait to use the patch. The reason for that is because of work/homework/sleep/school/life/work/sleep/then finally be able to play civ3. However, there a few bright spots to my situation: I can see the judgement of the patch before I play it, and I will be able to download the patch faster when I decide to download it.

Well, that's your choice, and I don't really have a choice. Actually for you (I read the list of all the games you played for Civ2, btw) it's not that bad of a choice.

Good job, Firaxis! For now....
You know we are never satisfied... However, great to see that you work hard to improve the game

The UU was the "Freedom Fighter" (equivalent to French Muskateer). Some of the Great Leaders were Ludwig von Mises, Bastiat, F. A. von Hayek, and Thomas Jefferson. The name of the civ was Libertaria, and its capital was Liberty. Cities included Independence, Commerce, and Freedom, among others.
I also had a Libertarian government, wherein workers were extremely productive but cost quite a bit. It took me a while to tweak everything (a few days, actually). So [shrug...]

If you choose to both have a life AND to live it instead of playing the game, then you should not expect sympathy from the fanatics. Quite a surprise that it has been released early.

stack movement is great...... instantly improving the game and making things easier on me.
please focus on these types of improvements in the future, not the type of improvements that make the AI stronger or harder on us. streamline the interface, figure out ways to shorten the length of each turn, don't make rule changes!!!! that goes for trade, war, etc.
thanks fIraxIS

Oh well, something to do while looking at Bewitched, doing homework and eating Valentine's Day candy in a box with Snoopy on it.

I'm downloading the patch now and hopefully I can get a game in before I go out with my girlfriend tonight. Oh, what a cruel thing Firaxis has done! Distracting me like this on Valintine's Day...
