US and English to play before the Indians, ANZAC!!
So I'm not late... YET!!!
BTW: I've got a trick so that I don't forget my turn too often: in all my PBEMs I play just after Soundwave, so that I'm sure to be reminded when I am to play (PM, post, email, you name it...)
Just kidding, Sean

Okay, my turn's FINALLY done! I sent it to soundwave, since I've been having posting problems since I don't remember when. I played the turn a few days about, but here's what I recall:
Although apparently I forgot to hit ctrl-N last turn, I went ahead and lived with it.
Confederate invasion force repulsed, happy parties dance, Border states yearn to breathe free from Rebel incursions
File sent to soundwave

The Confederacy has captured Detroit today. Hopefully this will convince the Union to let us become independent from their rule. We just want peace and self government, then this war will stop. We do not want any conflict with Britain and we have not committed any crimes of anysort.

Nothing much to report other then the Spanish navy is really wishing that its ironclads were capable of sea voyages and didn't have to hug the coastline at all times...

Tennessee in Federal Hands!
With the aid of a marvelous new sea weapon called an "ironclad", US regular infantry and militia stormed through Tennesee today, and erected strong defenses in order to hold their territory. Gen. George Bibb Crittenden, responsible for the units that took part in the Rape of Louisville, was found recuperating in Nashville, and was arrested by Federal forces for war crimes. Many Tennesseans themselves showed great satisfaction at their return to the United States, thus evidencing that the Confederate state is a fanatical one imposed on the ordinary citizenry by a corrupt elite, says President Lincoln.
Racist Michagan Backwoodsmen Rebel with Rebel Aid
The nation was aghast as news trickled down that Detroit had fallen into Confederate hands. Such a proposition was mindboggling, considering the distance from the border of Rebel-held territory to Michigan. Apparently as Rebel units were attempting to advance on the city of St Louis, a group of deranged backwoods polygamists from Michigan managed to smuggle a division of Confederate troops by rail into Michigan, where they waited patiently before striking the city once its militia was called to duty in the battlefront. Such a zany scheme is bewildering, but President Lincoln promised safe passage back to Confederate-held territory if the unit agreed to abandon it's untenable conquest.
Lincoln asks British Minister to Clarify Position
Following Britain's declaration of brotherhood with the United States and its condemnation of the massacre at Louisville, President Lincoln declared contridicts its later statement claiming it does not war with the illigitimate rebel government and desires trade with them. He continued and said that no trade units bound for the Confederacy would be permitted to pass through the Union, and any ships found carrying goods toward the Confederacy would be blown from the water if they didn't submit to Union inspection.

Unconditional War Decleared
After Repeated warnings, the Canadain Governor-General has decleared WAR! on the Confederates, seeing the Rebels sluaghter civilians and play a major part to the destruction of society itself.
Detroit Occupied
Detroit was occupied by British Dominion Forces today as part of a Union/Canadain Joint Forces Venture, all warships have not yet been put to sea following the speech it will be a war on land not sea, the British Royal Navy will play no part what so ever.
Indians also asked to joint forces
Showing the Indians ferocity in Battle the Governor General asked if the Indians will join this 'crusade against slavery'.

The Confederacy would like to ask all decent nations of the world to oppose these violent takeovers! All the Confederacy wants is peace as expressed before.

What violent takeovers, the Union asks? The United States government is only asserting its right, recognized by international standards and law to suppress a violent insurrection. The Rebel government on the other hands, claims it wants no territory outside what it controls and then procedes to take territory it doesn't even have a claim to in the north. Pure hypocrisy!

The taking of the territory was a raid into the Union, to show that we are not weaklings. We invite the Union to confer with the Confederacy on the issue of Independence and a peace treaty.
We call on all countries of the world to stop an oppressor from taking back and imprisoning people who want to be free in their Union!
