"...17 years after the first recorded resurgence of native flora at Baikonur, Gaian environmentalists are expressing their concern over the recent developments within the heartland of Gaia. The laissez-faire attitude to environmental issues adopted by the captains of industry at Gaia's Landing will soon lead to a spontaneous upsurge in native fauna growth..."

I just played the turn (twice now) but it won't let me save it. Each time I end the turn (Turn Complete) it comes up asking for Brother Qantaga so I press Save and Exit and the screen just keeps coming back up again. If I do OK it does it twice then exits the game without saving. Not sure what to do - any ideas?

SITS, I'm not sure what to tell you since I have never seen anything like that before.
Perhaps an e-mail to Tau Ceti, with the turn attached, is in order.

Unless y'all want to play the same turn over and hope for a different result I move to call this one a draw.

I think a draw would be premature. I've sent my email again to Tau Ceti - it might work on his machine...

Turn 2189 to Q
I managed to get hold of TC and he opened it and saved it and then sent it to me. Which worked.

SITS got the same problem again. Worked around it the same way as last time, but that is hardly a permanent solution.
It is strange for something like this to suddenly appear. Sam, have you recently changed anything (reinstall, new OS, whatever) that could conceivably be responsible? Anyone else?

2191 to SITS
I have been using the Linux version of SMACX, but haven't had any problems with my other MP games (ACT052). If you have the same problem again, I'll play this turn under windows and see if that's the problem.
