Newbie Help?

Hope this question is not inappropriate, but are there any sort of basic Faq's (other than the one on the site) or guides to using the Scenario Editor, as I am just getting started building scenarios.

Yeah, Hexagonian has a modder's guide on his site.

Also, attached is a guide to CtP scenario design by John Bytheway. It is for CtP1, but most of it works for CtP2, with some notable changes, such as the *icon.txts all being merged into uniticon.txt, and SpriteID.txt being replaced by newsprite.txt.

Other than that, the princaples are the same.

I agree with IW.

McLevel - Hexagonians guide is invaluable, plus there are some notes in theodifications section on the apolyton site. Good to hear from another settler trying to edit their own scenarios. If I can help give me a shout.
