How do you upgrade?

I know it's a basic question. Just take said unit into city with barracks right? If that's the case, I thought you could upgrade special units with v1.17? Anyone, Anyone?

Are you lacking the resource you need to upgrade? Cos yeah, taking it to a city with barracks is what you need to do to upgrade. Try Shift+U to upgrade all available units.
