Colonel Santiago and her staff have a dilemma on their hands: How do you interrogate a man for whom it hurts to talk?
|
Hmmm... maybe make it hurt even more not to talk?

The Hunt returns! In the latest episode, Peter Bialkevich must make a very difficult decision. And we learn that the best things in life are small. Well, the best instruments of "interrogation", anyway.

My God, it's undead!
Anyway. Note the use of Cheap Writer's Trick No. 128 (TM): skipping the hard part of the scene and coming back to the action later. Apologies.

Tut tut. The Finnish 'national author', Aleksis Kivi, used the same trick in his book "Seitsemän veljestä" in the 19th century, so it isn't that cheap since great writers have used it.

Someday, one way or another, I will finish The Hunt. I believe I can tie it up in one or two installments.
Until then, relax, and dream of forgotten pasts and forbidden futures . . .
